FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in metal-working industry. To obtain hardness of not more than 28–30 HRC, pressing workpiece is heated to temperature of 900 °C, isothermal holding for 16 hours and cooling to eliminate residual stresses, after cooling, annealing is performed at 1,280–1,300 °C for 4–6 hours with air cooling and subsequent hardening with 900–950 °C with cooling in oil or air.
EFFECT: improved machinability of workpieces from alloy H65NVFT.
