FIELD: wireless communication.
SUBSTANCE: network management node receives a service request from a WTRU, wherein the service information comprises one or more of a service class, quality of service (QoS) requirements or mobility characteristics. Network management node determines the fragment information associated with the plurality of network fragments, and selects at least a first network fragment to service the WTRU. Network management node determines whether the network management node or another network management node should service the WTRU to access the first network fragment. When the network management node determines that the other network management node should service the WTRU module for accessing the first network fragment, network management node sends a request to another network management node, indicating that another network management node should service the WTRU module for accessing the first network fragment.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing selection of network fragments for WTRU.
