FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, more specifically to creation of biomedical regenerative material, which can be used in filling bone defects in traumatology and orthopedics, maxillofacial surgery and surgical dentistry. Disclosed is a method of producing granules of hydroxylapatite in a chitosan matrix, according to which hydroxylapatite powder is mixed until homogeneous mass with 2 wt% chitosan solution in 0.5 % acetic acid at ratio of 1 g of hydroxylapatite with 10.0 ml of chitosan solution, then obtained mixture is dispersed through capillary with diameter of 1–2 mm in 5 % solution of NaOH at temperature T1=20–28 °C, obtained granules are decanted from alkaline solution and dried at temperature T2=25–27 °C in air for not less than 5 hours.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain hydroxylapatite granules in a chitosan matrix having thermal stability in the temperature range of 200 °C to 800 °C.
