FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, namely to devices for investigation of deformation and rheology characteristics of soils by probing with a plate-like probe during engineering-geological survey and can be used in determining the quality of soil bases of buildings and various earth structures. Device for static probing of soil comprises plate-like wedge-like tip, on one side of which is mounted pressure sensor, rope range finder, electronic conversion unit, computer and hollow rod. Cross-section of plate-like wedge-like tip is oval, in form of flattened ellipse, wherein upper edge of wedge-shaped lower part of plate is made concentric to pressure sensor.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of accuracy and reliability of determining deformation and rheological characteristics of soil.
