SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment and is intended for measuring stresses in soils and can be used in construction, experimental research. The expected result is achieved by the fact that the device for measuring stresses in the ground contains a housing, a receiving piston, a measuring membrane, a hydraulic converter, a cable, a strain gauge located on the measuring membrane, and the receiving piston is made with an annular recess made on the outer surface of the piston and filled with elastic material, while the body is oval in the form of a flattened ellipsoid.
EFFECT: increased accuracy and reliability of determining stresses in the ground.
