FIELD: radio equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used to determine the range from an antenna phase center (APC) transmitting radio signals (RS) of an object to an APC of an RS receiving object. Method is characterized in that RS is transmitted with given individual features of an RS transmitting entity, on the RS receiving object, they are identified, when receiving, fixing the APC position of the RS receiving object, measuring the frequency deviation of the spectrum of the received RS from the given position of the spectrum and using this deviation to correct parameters of the transmitted RS. In addition, the APC of the receiving object is moved along the predetermined straight-line trajectory according to a predetermined law of its movement and the projection of the movement speed of the APC on the line connecting the APC of said objects is measured, and acceleration corresponding to said speed. Based on said projections and speed of movement along said rectilinear trajectory APC of RS-receiving object, said distance varying in time is determined. Obtained information is transmitted to consumers, including to RS transmitting object, where parameters of transmitted radio signals are corrected with its use.

EFFECT: absence of a requirement for a single time system for transmitting and receiving RS objects and unambiguous determination of said range.
