FIELD: radio equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used to determine the range from an antenna phase center (APC) transmitting radio signals (RS) of an object to an APC of an RS receiving object. RS transmitting entity comprises a device transmitting RS with given individual features. RS receiving object comprises a device which receives and identifies an RS, connected to the antenna device, and a module connected to the antenna device, configured to fix the position of the antenna of its antenna device and, respectively, fixing the position of its phase center, and with the possibility of moving the antenna of the radio signal receiving object so that its phase center moves along a given circular trajectory at a given angular velocity. RS receiving object also has a measurement and information subsystem (MIS) operatively coupled to the receiving RS device and a module configured to measure, at the fixed position of the APC, the frequency deviation of the spectrum of the received RS from the given position of the spectrum and measurement during movement of APC projection of speed of its movement on line, connecting APC of said objects, corresponding to its acceleration and derivative of this acceleration in time and determination on them and specified angular speed of specified range. Also, the RS transmitting entity comprises an information subsystem operatively coupled to the transmitting RS device configured to receive information transmitted by said MIS, on said frequency deviation of spectrum and its use to provide frequency adjustment of transmitted RS.

EFFECT: technical result consists in unambiguous determination of range.
