FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing (1S,4R)-1-isopropyl-4-methyl-10-aryl-7,8,12,13-tetraoxa-10-azaspiro[5.7]tridecanes (1) by reacting o-, m-, p-halogenoanilines (o-, m-, p-chloroaniline, o-, m-, p-fluoroaniline, o-, m-, p-bromoaniline) with (1S,4R)-1-isopropyl-4-methyl-7,8,10,12,13-pentaoxaspiro[5.7]tridecane in the presence of HfCl4 catalyst at room temperature and atmospheric pressure for 4–6 hours.
EFFECT: selective method with yield of 79–89 %.
