SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process for the preparation of 3,3-dialkyl-7-aryl-1,2,4,5,7-tetraoxazocanes (1):

R1=CH3, R2=C6H13, R=m-Cl, m-F, p-Cl; R1=C4H8, R2=C4H9, R=m-Cl, p-Cl; R1=C2H4, R2=C4H9, R=m-Cl, p-F, in which m-, p-halogenoanilines are reacted with 3,3-dialkyl-1,2,4,5,7-pentaoxacanes in the presence of Sm(NO3)3⋅6H2O at the molar ratio aniline : 3,3-dialkyl-1,2,4,5,7-pentaoxacane : Sm(NO3)3⋅6H2O = 10 : (10–12) : (0.3–0.7) at room temperature (20 °C) and atmospheric pressure for 4–6 hours in tetrahydrofuran.
EFFECT: method for the preparation of 3,3-dialkyl-7-aryl-1,2,4,5,7-tetraoxazocanes (1) in a high yield is proposed.
