FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to psychiatry, and can be used to predict a risk of suicidal behavior in patients with bipolar affective disorder (BD). Presence of comorbid syndrome, alcohol dependence, average length of periods between the onset of affective episodes in years, the prescription of the disease in years, the total score by HARS. Risk of suicidal behavior (R) is calculated by the declared formula. If R is greater than or equal to 0.5, the risk of suicidal behavior is considered to be high. If R is less than 0.5, the risk of suicidal behavior is considered to be low.
EFFECT: method enables high-probability assessment of a risk of suicidal behavior in a patient with BD, timely preventive measures to prevent suicide by evaluating a complex of the most significant parameters.
