SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. The method for pre-sowing treatment of rice seeds with molybdenum under the conditions of the Krasnodar Region is characterized by the fact that the rice seeds are preliminarily examined for the content of molybdenum in them, they are divided into three groups with different molybdenum content: the first group includes seeds containing less than 0.25 mg/kg of molybdenum, the second group includes seeds containing 0.25-0.55 mg/kg of molybdenum, the third group includes seeds containing more than 0.55 mg/kg of molybdenum. If rice seeds belong to the first group or the second group, then they are treated with 0.5% aqueous solution of molybdenum by a semi-dry method with consumption of 10 liters per 1 ton, and rice seeds containing molybdenum more than 0.55 mg/kg are sown in the field without pre-sowing treatment.

EFFECT: invention improves rice yields.
