FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, particularly to hand surgery when repairing defects of navicular bone of hand. After the forearm and hand are fixed in the external fixation apparatus, the palmar approach to the distal metaepiphysis of the radial bone and to navicular bone 5.0 cm long is performed. Distal metaepiphysis of the radial bone is blunt and acute separated and a bone bicortical graft in the form of a truncated pyramid is formed using a chisel. Back access is made to distal metaepiphysis of the radial bone with length of 4.0 cm. Through this access, the formed bicortical graft is corrected by osteotomy of Lister's tubercle of distal metaepiphysis of radial bone. After formation of bicortical graft, a wire is inserted through it, which is fixed in a distraction ring. Graft is moved into the prepared bed with replacement of the navicular defect, restoring the structure of the bones of the proximal wrist.
EFFECT: method enables recovering the structure of the proximal wrist bones by replacing the defect of navicular bone with a non-free autograft from a distal metaepiphysis of the radial bone.
