SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical tests technique and can be used for quality control of wires insulation. Control device of insulation defects winding wire sensor comprises – an electrode, a high voltage source, defect pulses generator consisting of front and rear edges shaper reference and differential amplifier source, defect counter, speed sensor, speed pulse shaper, speed pulse counter, key device, defect length counter with adjustable conversion factor, flip-flop, light-emitting diode and photodiode, two metal yokes, two springs, two sliding contacts, two leads for connection of power supply, two guiding bushings, disk with uniformly made through radial slots. Sensor-electrode and the wire speed sensor are made in the form of a single functional unit made in the form of two stainless steel rollers having a U-shaped groove along the generatrix.
EFFECT: reduction of control voltage and improvement of sensor resolution.
