FIELD: electrical testing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technique of electrical testing and can be used to control the quality of the insulation of wires in the process of making windings of electrical products from them. The device for selective quality control of the insulation of winding wires contains a contact electrode, a counter of the number of input defects, a counter of the number of defects introduced by equipment, a stabilized current source, a peak detector with a reset circuit, a waiting multivibrator, a trigger pulse shaper, an analog-to-digital converter, a comparison and memory unit, and matching scheme. According to the invention, two key devices are additionally introduced into it, a resistor, a differential amplifier, a counter for the length of input defects, a counter for the total number of defects, a counter for the total length of defects, a counter for the length of the monitored wire, a speed sensor, a speed pulse generator and a frequency multiplier.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to register not only the number of input defects and the number of technological defects introduced by the equipment, but also their length, thereby significantly increasing the information content of the control.
