FIELD: testing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology for electrical testing and is used to monitor the quality of insulation of wires in the process of manufacturing windings of electrical products therefrom. The technical result is achieved by using, as a defect sensor, elements of a winding machine secured on a conductive platform and connected to the grounded body of the winding machine by dielectric ties through an electric insulation gasket, wherein additionally introduced into the meter are a high-resistance amplifier, a delay line, a computer with a neural network, a router, a pickup generator, a wire length counter, and an inductor made in the form of a winding wound on a ferrite rod, said rod with the winding is inserted into the coil of the winding wire.
EFFECT: simplification of the apparatus for monitoring the defect rate of wire insulation.
