FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. Set of cutters consists of cutter to form guide channel, cutter for removal of main mass of central zone of costal cartilage and cutter for processing of non-resected areas of central zone of costal cartilage. Each cutter is made as a single part and consists of shank, connecting neck and cutting head located along one axis, as well as protective coupling made on connecting neck. Cutter head for formation of guide channel has a round shape, its diameter coincides with diameter of connecting neck and is from 1 to 2 mm, protective sleeve of cutter for formation of guide channel is located perpendicular to connecting neck, located on it immediately behind cutting head and has diameter of 3–5 mm. Cutter head for removal of main mass of central zone of costal cartilage has round or oval shape, its diameter is from 3 to 12 mm, on connecting neck at distance of 1.5–2 mm from cutting head protective coupling is located, having diameter of 3 to 5 mm. Cutter head for processing of non-resected areas of central zone of costal cartilage has diameter from 5 to 14 mm. Protective coupling of this cutter is located perpendicular to connecting neck and has diameter from 3 to 5 mm and is located at distance of 1.5–2 mm from cutting head.

EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of resection of costal cartilage taking into account its morphological zones, namely possibility of resection of central zone of cartilage without damage to perichondrium and subperichondral zone, which in its turn does not lead to disruption of apposition growth of cartilage.
