FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the machine building. Small vehicle drive wheel comprises hub movably connected to drive shaft by means of bearings, clamping half-coupling with rigidly connected bushing, hub half-coupling rigidly connected to the hub. Hub is made in the form of "star" with three "beams" uniformly distributed in circumferential direction. Axle with rigidly installed on it two support wheels and driven toothed pulley connected by toothed belt with driving toothed pulley and guide rollers is movably fixed on ends of beams. Rollers are installed on hub at equal distance from toothed pulley with possibility to adjust belt tension. Half-coupling is fixed on the shaft with possibility of axial movement by means of a pressure cup installed on the shaft. Pressure lever is attached to said cup. Bushing is made with longitudinal slots, in which stops are placed. One end of the spring is fixed to the upper end of each stops, and the other – to the clamping half-coupling with the possibility of holding the bushing in the position, at which the clamping half-coupling is located at maximum distance from the hub half-coupling.
EFFECT: possibility to provide wheel movement along horizontal, inclined and stepped surfaces, including stairs.
