FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction equipment and can be used as a pneumatic hammer for destruction of quarry lumps, frozen soil, concrete foundations, road pavement, and so forth of materials and structures. Pneumatic mechanism of impact action comprises housing with cylindrical cavity, working tool with shank, sleeve with central hole and throttling inlet channel, end prechamber of network air formed between shell and annular flange, arranged in cylindrical housing striker, having a through axial opening and a channel-bypass groove at the hammer end on the side of the annular flange and on the hammer side surface and dividing the cylindrical housing cavity into the working and idle travel chambers, rod-tube installed in the central hole of the ring flange and passed through the central hole in the barrel. In the idle stroke chamber there is a recess interacting with the hammer channel-bypass groove. In rod-tube it is made with possibility to open end of striker from side of working tool shank radial channel of outlet with its continuation in the form of axial longitudinal channel, leaving into atmosphere. Annular afterburning chamber is formed between shell and housing. Annular flange is equipped with side wall with radial channel of bypass made therein for constant communication of end prechamber of network air with annular afterburning chamber. In the working stroke chamber on the side of the annular flange there is an annular braking chamber and an annular distribution chamber in the form of annular grooves separated by a collar. In the housing wall at the level of the annular distribution chamber and the annular braking chamber there are through radial bypass channels for constant connection with the annular afterburner chamber. Idle stroke chamber is communicated with the annular distributing chamber and the annular braking chamber in the striker position resting on the working tool shank. Channel-bypass groove on the side surface of the striker is screw-type with a cross-section of a triangular shape with outlets on both ends of the striker with a channel-groove of decreasing depth in the cross-section area with an outlet to the end on the side of the idle stroke chamber.
EFFECT: providing rational air distribution and implementation of stable operation mode of pneumatic hammer with increased impact energy and reduced air flow rate.
