FIELD: pneumatic hammer.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a pneumatic hammer. The hammer contains a body with a cylindrical cavity, a working tool with a shank, a sleeve with a central hole, an annular flange with an inlet throttle channel, an end pre-chamber of the mains air formed between the sleeve and the annular flange, and a striker placed in the cylindrical body. The drummer has a through axial hole and a bypass channel-groove located at the end face of the drummer from the side of the annular flange and on the side surface of the drummer, and divides the cavity of the cylindrical body into chambers for working and idling. A rod-tube is installed in the central hole of the annular flange. The rod-tube is passed through the central hole in the glass. The bypass channel-groove on the side surface of the striker is made helical with a cross-section in the form of conjugated rounded projections and depressions having the same curvature along the entire length of the helical line.
EFFECT: stable mode of operation of the pneumatic hammer with increased impact kinetic energy is ensured.
