FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pneumatic hammer. Hammer comprises a pneumatic impact mechanism, a housing with a cylindrical cavity, a working tool with a shank, a sleeve with a central hole, fixed detachably relative to housing, annular flange with central hole, end prechamber of network air formed between shell and annular flange, a rod-tube and a hammer arranged in the cylindrical cavity of the housing, having a through axial hole and a bypass channel-groove. Hammer separates cavity of cylindrical housing into chambers of working and idle strokes. Rod tube is installed in annular flange central hole and passed through central hole in barrel. Between barrel and cylindrical housing afterburning annular chamber is formed. Hammer bypass channel-groove is made in the form of through trapezoidal bypass channel-groove with output to both ends of striker and with reduced cross-sectional area in its depth to end face of striker on the side of idle stroke chamber.
EFFECT: result is stable operation mode of hammer with increased impact energy and reduced air flow rate.
