FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pneumatic hammer. Pneumatic hammer comprises working tool, housing, barrel with central bore, annular flange with central bore and throttle inlet channel, end precombustion chamber formed between the bucket and annular flange, hammer and rod tube. Hammer has axial hole and bypass channel and divides housing into working and idle strokes chambers. Rod tube is installed in annular flange central hole and passed through central hole in barrel. In rod tube radial discharge channel is made with its extension in form of axial longitudinal channel. Between barrel and cylindrical housing afterburning annular chamber is formed. Annular flange is equipped with side wall with made in it radial bypass channel, continuously communicating end forechamber with annular afterburning chamber. In working stroke chamber on annular flange side annular braking chamber and annular distributing chamber are made. In housing wall through bypass channels are made, continuously communicating it with annular afterburning chamber. Idle stroke chamber is communicated with annular distributing chamber and annular braking chamber, when hammer is resting on working tool shank.
EFFECT: result is increase in hammer impact kinetic energy and reduced air consumption.
