FIELD: nanotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nanotechnology. Disclosed is a method of producing thymol nanocapsules in sodium alginate. Thymol is used as a core, sodium alginate is used as a shell of nanocapsules, the core to shell weight ratio is 1:1, or 1:3, or 1:2. Thymol powder is slowly added to a suspension of sodium alginate in isopropanol in presence of 0.01 g of E472c as a surfactant. Then it is stirred at 750 rpm. Cyclohexane is added. Produced suspension is filtered and dried at the room temperature.
EFFECT: invention simplifies the process of producing nanocapsules and increases mass output.
