FIELD: woodworking industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to production of boards. Part of the wood chips is treated in water at temperature of 50 °C to 100 °C for 10–60 minutes. Chips treated in water are dried. Water-treated and dried chips are glued together, and non-water-treated chips are glued with the use of binder. Glued chips are distributed on the conveyor belt and pressed to produce a plate. Production line for making a plate comprises a device for barking tree trunks, a chip machine, a device for treating chips with water, a drying installation for drying chips treated with water, a device for sifting and separating chips, a device for gluing chips, device for distribution of glued chips on conveyor belt and press for pressing of distributed chips. Proposed device comprises vessel with water, feeder for transfer of chips through vessel and device for immersion of chips in water.
EFFECT: simplified process, increased reliability of boards manufacturing, reduced release of volatile organic compounds.
