SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport. Proposed system comprises on-board unit of rolling stock, user mobile telephone/smartphone and server to receive signals from on-board unit and user's mobile telephone/smartphone. User's mobile telephone/smartphone contains the installed application providing notification of the user in case of rolling stock approach when the mobile phone/smartphone is located near the railway tracks. System further comprises a mobile telephone/smartphone of a rolling stock mechanic to determine in real-time geolocation of rolling stock. Mobile telephone/smartphone of the driver is configured to receive and transmit signals to the server and contains an installed application which provides for notification of the driver in case the mobile telephone/smartphone of the user is located near the railway tracks and at approach of rolling stock to it.

EFFECT: higher safety of train movement and brigades operating on railway tracks.
