FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly dentistry, morphology, histology, and can be used for morphological examination of enamel of teeth directly enamel-dentine layer in atomic-force and inverted microscopes. Proposed method comprises step-by-step and sequential grinding on Neuris Grinding-Polishing Machine by hermes abrasive wheels with cooling with distilled water and accurate control of enamel surface to be removed by means of calipers. At that, hermes abrasive wheels with grain size of 100 microns is ground 0.5 mm of surface layer of enamel, then by hermes abrasive wheel with granularity of 65 micron - 1.0 mm of enamel and hermes abrasive wheel with granularity of 25 micron - another 0.5 mm of enamel. Thereafter, final polishing is carried out on a polishing and Neuris polishing machine: polyethylene polishing disc with a diamond suspension Akasel 15 micron - for 2 minutes, cooling with distilled water, polishing circle of cloth with diamond suspension Akasel 3 micron - for 1 minute, cooling with distilled water, polishing circle from plush with diamond suspension Akasel 1 micron - for 30 s, cooling with distilled water under jet for 2 minutes. Then the preparation is dried using propane burner at temperature of 36 °C for 3 minutes, surface preparation 37 % orthophosphoric acid H3PO4 for 2 s and washed under a stream of distilled water for 15 s. Preparation is finally dried using a propane burner at temperature of 36 °C for 2.5 minutes. Proposed method is simple and easy to use.

EFFECT: technical result is improved preparation of dental preparations for studying microstructure and ultrastructure of enamel in atomic power and inverted microscopes, which enables to study the pattern of prisms and inter-prism intervals on the entire polished surface of enamel, but within one enamel-dentine layer.
