FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular dentistry, histology, and can be used to study the morphology of the structural elements of tooth enamel in the longitudinal direction in a scanning electron microscope. The method consists in grinding the prepared preparation on the MP-1BGrinderPolisher grinding and polishing machine with dexter grinding wheels with a grain size of 800 grit for 3 minutes with cooling in distilled water, while grinding off 1 mm of the outer layer of the preparation. Then the preparation is treated with a dexter grinding wheel with a grain size of 1000 grit for 2 minutes with cooling in distilled water. At the same time, 0.5 mm is ground off. After that, sequential processing is carried out with dexter grinding wheels with a grain size of 1500, 2000, 2500 grit for 1 minute with cooling in distilled water, while grinding another 0.5 mm of the preparation. After that, the preparation is cleaned under a stream of distilled water for 1 minute, polished on an MP-1BGrinderPolisher grinding and polishing machine using a felt polishing wheel with GOI paste for plastics for 2 minutes. Next, the preparation is again cleaned under running distilled water for 2 minutes. Then dried using a building hair dryer at a temperature of 36°C for 30 seconds. After that, the surface of the preparation is etched with 37% orthophosphoric acid H3PO4 for 20 seconds, and then washed again under running distilled water for 15 seconds. Next, the preparation is dried using a building hair dryer at a temperature of 36°C for 30 seconds and placed on the object table of a scanning electron microscope for examination.
EFFECT: Improvement is achieved in the manufacture of tooth preparations for studying the morphology of enamel of various layers in a scanning electron microscope with the possibility of manufacturing up to 25 high-quality preparations per laboratory day by one preparation and controlled study of enamel morphology on large samples.
