FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, specifically to a method of producing electric discharge between liquid electrolyte electrodes and device for its implementation, and can be used in producing low-temperature plasma in plasma chemical reactors. In the proposed method, an electric discharge is initiated between the flows of two electrolytes flowing from the upper parts of the corresponding two prismatic cathode and anode electrode units lying horizontally, note here that said device comprises two electrically isolated hydraulic systems for circulation of electrolytes with electrolytic cathode and electrolytic anode electrode assemblies, their bodies being shaped to prism with distributing feed and discharge channels. In housings of both electrode assemblies made from heat-resistant dielectric material current leads are arranged in the form of continuous solid prismatic rod coaxially located inside the channel. Housing of corresponding electrode assembly is equipped with annular gap for electrolyte flow.
EFFECT: longer service life of the device for producing electric discharge is technical result of invention.
