FIELD: plasma technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related specifically to gas-discharge devices with liquid electrolyte electrodes and can be applied in those fields of science and technology where low-temperature plasma is used, in particular, in plasma chemistry. In an electrode assembly containing a liquid electrode in the form of an electrolyte, a current lead and a porous headpiece made of a refractory material, mounted with a small gapΔ between the porous headpiece and the current lead, small holes with diameters d are made in the porous headpiece, and these holes are located in the cells of a rectangular grid with the same pitch along the lines forming the grid, while the small holes form channels for the electrolyte to flow from the gap Δ between the porous headpiece and the current lead to the working surface of the porous headpiece.
EFFECT: increase in the specific heat load on the electrode assembly.
