FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: oxidative neutralizer for processing exhaust gases formed by a self-ignition engine comprises a substrate having an inlet end surface and an outlet end surface, and catalytic material arranged on substrate. Catalytic material comprises platinum (Pt) and entrapping material. Capturing material is arranged on outlet end surface and comprises material, alloyed with Pt. Material alloyed with Pt contains metal and/or its oxide, wherein metal is selected from a group consisting of palladium (Pd); gold (Au); copper (Cu); Pd and Au mixtures; Pd and Cu mixtures; mixtures of Au and Cu; Pd, Au and Cu mixtures; bimetallic alloy Pd and Au; bimetallic alloy Pd and Cu; bimetallic alloy Au and Cu and trimetallic alloy Pd, Au and Cu.
EFFECT: technical result is reduced release of volatile platinum.
