FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to neurosurgery. Produced flap on dura mater is divided into two parts and sequentially laid in defect of internal auditory meatus (IAM), wherein one portion of the flap is placed in the IAM defect by covering the cranial nerves passing in the IAM, and the second portion of the flap is laid on top of the folded flap portion and sealed with the fibrin-thrombin adhesive composition. That is followed by tight seam stitching by continuous seam with additional sealing by Tachocomb.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase tightness of IAM defect closure and eliminate development of post-operative liquorrhea and purulent complications in surgical treatment of patients with vestibular neurilemmomas with reaming of internal auditory meatus (IAM) and removal of intracanal part of tumor.
