FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to therapeutic dentistry, and is applicable for occlusion stabilization. Patient is diagnosed that is followed by the stabilization process. At the first stage, the initial anatomy of at least two molars of the upper jaw on the right and on the left is restored for at least 4 hours, excluding the wisdom teeth, if one of the teeth is absent, the anatomy of the next premolar of the upper jaw is restored, wherein position of lower jaw is determined by first and second molars of upper and lower jaws and their interaction with each other, wherein for the distraction of the condyle of the process of the temporomandibular joint, the initial anatomy of said teeth is restored higher than their anatomy was before the stabilization of the bite, wherein the height reference mark necessary for stabilization is determined by the grin line passing along the cutting edge of the teeth and the Spee curve, then two additional supports in the region of the premolars of the upper jaw for the period of bite stabilization, forming the temporary occlusal onlays. At the second stage, the anatomy of the molars and premolars of the lower jaw on the right is restored. At the third stage, the anatomy of the molars and premolars of the lower jaw on the left is restored. At the fourth stage, the anatomy of the premolars of the upper jaw on the right and left is restored, and the temporary occlusal onlays that were formed at the first stage are removed. In 1-6 weeks depending on the patient’s adaptation to the new occlusion and height, the fifth stage of treatment is carried out, at which the canine anatomy is restored before the contact with the antagonist teeth.
EFFECT: by forming a fissure-tubercle contact, the method enables providing the bite height fixation and stabilisation.
