SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a pigmented aqueous primer material comprising a polyether-based reaction product, obtained by reaction (a) of at least one cyclic dianhydride of dibasic carboxylic acids, having an aliphatic, aromatic or araliphatic radical X, bridging two anhydride groups with (b) at least one polyether of general structural formula (II)

in which R denotes C3-C6 alkylene radical and n is selected so that the polyether (b) has a number-average molecular weight of 500–5000 g/mol, components (a) and (b) are used in reaction in molar ratio of 0.7/2.3–1.6/1.7 and the obtained reaction product has an acid number of 5–80 mg KOH/g. Disclosed also is a reaction product of special dianhydrides and polyether, as well as use of pigmented aqueous primer materials, including reaction product (a) and (b) to improve resistance to cracking of paint systems.

EFFECT: technical result is providing pigmented aqueous primer material and reaction product used in pigmented aqueous primer for coating, characterized by good resistance to cracking, but obtained in form of an ecological aqueous pigmented primer material.
