FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to production of metal parts by successive application of layers. Method comprises steps of: a) applying a first layer of molten metal to a substrate for forming a first metal roller on a substrate, b) on first roller, second layer of molten metal is applied to form second metal roller on first roller, and c) steps a) and b) are repeated for each new metal layer, applied on top of previous roller, until formation of said at least part of part. After n application stages, where n is greater than or equal to 1, compression stage of the formed roller is performed. Compression is performed in hot condition before complete cooling of said roller. Compression stage is carried out by means of shot blasting of roller by means of particles of material identical to material of powder, used for production of rollers. Disclosed is a device for implementing the method, which comprises a laser head for melting filler metal in order to form a roller, and a nozzle for compressing said roller.

EFFECT: reduced residual stresses in layers and microstructure anisotropy for obtaining defect-free parts.
