FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of frit and can be used for enamelling metal utensils and articles, as well as glazing ceramics. Proposed frit preparation method involves weighing of charge components, averaging of charge and its cooking, frit production, and before cooking charge is granulated, after which charge granules are sampled within 2.0–6.0 mm, besides, cooking is performed at temperature 6,000 K in plasma reactor with dispersed melt efficiency of 12–15 g/s, and frit production is performed by means of instant cooling of dispersed melt with water jet.

EFFECT: technical result of the proposed invention is to accelerate the frit production process.
