FIELD: measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of determining volatile organic complexons of europium ions, involving preparation of a sensitive element containing europium ions, sampling from gas phase, providing interaction of sample with sensitive element and recording luminescence signal of europium ions at emission maximum at wavelength of 613–615 nm, wherein sensitive element is made in form of solid-phase carrier containing on surface sensor composition, including europium salts with luminescence amplifiers, and luminescence signal is recorded in pulsed stroboscopic mode with delay in time between act of excitation and reception of emission signal equivalent to luminescence attenuation constant.

EFFECT: disclosed is a method of determining volatile organic complexons of europium ions.
