FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to oncology. What is presented is a method for prediction of high risk of recurrence in patients with IB stage of cervical cancer by immunohistochemical examination of tumor tissue samples, which consists in the fact that in preparations stained using antibodies to CD34, presence of cell fragmentation in a solid tumor component and dilated capillaries directly contacting with tumor cells is determined, and in those cases, when both samples are detected in the analyzed samples, a high risk of recurrent disease is predicted.
EFFECT: invention can be used for prediction of high risk of recurrence in patients with IB stage of cervical cancer who received combined treatment.
