FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used to protect radio electronic equipment from ultrashort pulses. Delay line consists of one reference conductor, two signal conductors parallel to it and to each other, connected to each other at one end, and a dielectric medium, signal conductors of which are located between two additionally introduced passive conductors on one side of the dielectric substrate, each of which is located in parallel to them and the reference conductor, and resistors connecting each end of the passive conductors to the reference conductor, wherein the path, in which the line is connected, and the resistors at the ends of the passive conductors have resistance of 50 Ohm, and the selection of the cross-sectional parameters of the line provides decomposition into a sequence of eleven pulses of smaller amplitude, each of which comes to the end of the line at the end of the previous one, at the same time the delay line is folded into ten non-main turns and one non-main half-turn with the presence of jumpers between the non-main turns, and the connection between them is provided by the distance Snv= 400 mcm.
EFFECT: reduced dimensions of the delay line and increased attenuation of the input ultrashort pulse.
