SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used to protect electronic equipment from ultrashort pulses. The delay line consists of one reference conductor, two signal conductors parallel to it and to each other, interconnected at one end, a dielectric medium consisting of a dielectric substrate and ambient air, and the reference conductor is located on the same side of the dielectric substrate with one of the signal conductors, and the second signal conductor is located symmetrically to the first one relative to the dielectric substrate, a passive conductor is introduced parallel to the reference and signal conductors, located symmetrically to the reference conductor relative to the dielectric substrate and electrically connected to it through resistors, while the parameters of the line cross section are selected.
EFFECT: attenuation of the ultrashort pulse due to its decomposition into a sequence of six pulses of smaller amplitude.
