FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used to protect radio-electronic equipment from ultrashort pulses (USP). The delay line consists of one reference conductor, two signal conductors parallel to it and each other, connected to each other at one end, and a dielectric medium, and is characterized by the fact that the signal conductors are located to the left of two additionally introduced passive conductors on one side of the dielectric substrate, located parallel and parallel to the reference conductor, resistors of the passive conductor close to the signal conductors have resistances close to the short-circuit resistance, the resistors of the far passive conductor have resistances close to the idling resistance, the choice of the parameters of the cross-section of the line ensures the decomposition of the USP into a sequence of eleven pulses of smaller amplitude, each of which comes to the end of the line at the end of the previous one.
EFFECT: increased attenuation of the USP due to its decomposition into a sequence of eleven pulses.
