FIELD: measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and method of measuring distributed parameters of physical and mechanical values. Measurements are carried out with a sensor containing an optical fiber and an electroluminescent layer placed around it, piezoelectric elements connected by a two-wire electric line and made in the form of a piezoelectric cylindrical layer. Method includes supplying control variable voltage to the input of the forced electromechanical oscillations of the piezoelectric elements and recording the amplitude-frequency spectrum of the integral light signal at the output of the optical fiber. During measurements, selection of constant component value of control voltage is performed proceeding from requirement of generation of discrete light pulses of luminous intensity at output of optical fiber and finding time and frequency of output of said light pulses from optical fiber to determine real non-uniform distribution of diagnosed parameters along sensor.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of measurement accuracy for extended control sections.
