FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to obstetrics and gynecology, as well as to scientific research in the field of pathological physiology, and is intended to predict the threat of miscarriage in the early stages during an exacerbation of cytomegalovirus infection. To do this, in pregnant women with an exacerbation of cytomegalovirus infection, the content of vascular endothelial growth factor - VEGF-1 in ng/ml and the concentration of hypoxia-induced factor 1α - HIF-1α in ng/ml are determined by enzyme immunoassay in blood serum. Then, using the discriminant equation, the prognostic index PI=-55.781-0.903×VEGF-1+11.341×HIF-1α is determined, where PI is the prognostic index of the discriminant function, the boundary value of which is 11.587. When PI is equal to or greater than the limit value, the threat of miscarriage in the early stages is predicted during exacerbation of cytomegalovirus infection, with PI less than the limit value, the absence of the threat of miscarriage in the early stages during exacerbation of cytomegalovirus infection is predicted.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to predict the threat of miscarriage in the early stages during an exacerbation of cytomegalovirus infection.
