FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a resorbable cross-linked shape-stable membrane for use in the oral cavity and a method for production thereof. Resorbable cross-linked shape-stable membrane comprises a composite layer of collagen material and inorganic ceramic particles, which are a natural bone mineral, including 1.5 to 3.5 weight parts of inorganic ceramics per 1 weight part of collagen material, located between two layers of elastic pre-stretched collagen material. Elastic and pre-stretched collagen material is collagen material stretched so that it is in linear/elastic area of stress-strain curve and contains 70–90 wt % of collagen and 10–30 wt % of elastin. Resorbable cross-linked form-stabilized membrane manufacturing method involves the following stages: (a) preparation of a composite layer of collagen material and inorganic ceramic particles and, if necessary, crosslinking said composite layer, (b) arranging and gluing a composite layer of collagen material and inorganic ceramic particles between two collagen material layers subjected to stretching, leading to extension of collagen material in linear region of stress-strain curve, as a result of which composite layer of collagen material and inorganic ceramic particles is located between two layers of elastic pre-stretched collagen material, and (c) cross-linking said composite layer of collagen material and inorganic ceramic particles sandwiched between two layers of elastic pre-stretched collagen material, with subsequent treatment to impart hydrophilicity.

EFFECT: creation of a resorbable shaped-stable membrane capable of withstanding pressure, shearing forces and bending moments and providing support for bone formation, regeneration, plasty and/or replacement of bone tissue in the area of non-closed defect of the latter, namely in process of horizontal or vertical augmentation in upper or lower jaw.
