FIELD: control of articles using optical means.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of controlling a metal surface of a part. Method includes steps of providing a first laser for a first wavelength from 1000 to 1100 nm and power of more than 1 W, providing a second laser with a second wavelength of 1500 to 1800 nm and power of more than 1 W, providing an optical system comprising an input for the laser beam and a device, intended for direction of laser beam on metal surface and scanning of metal surface with laser beam. When realizing the method, activating the first or second laser and transmitting the first or second laser beam to the input of the optical system, scanning the metal surface with the first or second laser beam transmitted by the optical system, and removing at least one image of infrared radiation emitted by the metal surface.

EFFECT: technical result consists in simplification and acceleration of measurement process, as well as in improvement of method safety.
