FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to microbiology, laboratory diagnostics and pediatrics. Disclosed is a method of assessing body resistance of adolescents aged 12–18 according to the state of the bacterial and viral component of oral cavity microbiota, involving bacteriological examination with detecting representatives of opportunistic microflora and molecular-genetic analysis of oral fluid for the presence of herpes virus DNA: Epstein-Barr, cytomegalovirus, type 6 herpes, simplex herpes virus type 1 and 2. In adolescents 12–18 years old, who do not have S.aureus and M.lacunata and herpes viruses in the oral microbiota, high body resistance is determined; average resistance – in the presence of S.aureus or M.lacunata in amount of 1–2 lg CFU/ml and one herpes virus, low resistance if observing S.aureus or M.lacunata in amount 3–4 lg of CFU/ml and presence of two or more herpes viruses in oral fluid.
EFFECT: invention provides effective detection of body resistance of adolescents aged 12–18 years by qualitative and quantitative parameters of bacterial and viral component of oral cavity microbiota and high information value on the state of resistance of adolescents of this age group at the stage of clinical examination.
