FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to onco-dentistry and laboratory diagnostics, and concerns prediction of risk of new growths of oral mucosa in patients aged over 40 years. Method essence is as follows: molecular-genetic analysis of oral fluid is made for presence of viruses with oncogenous potential, and degree of risk of developing new growths of oral mucosa (OM) in combination is assessed with long experience of smoking. Low risk is determined in individuals with only one risk factor – virus with oncogenous potential or long smoking experience (10 years and more), moderate degree – if observing one of virus in smoker or two viruses in non-smoker, high degree – presence of association of two viruses and smoking, or three and more viruses, irrespective of smoking, as well as if observing DNA of HPV SRS.
EFFECT: method enables predicting risk of developing new growths SOPG, associated with viruses with oncogenous potential at stage of prenosological diagnostics and correction measures, directed in particular to elimination of viruses.
