SUBSTANCE: method of changing duration of system information operation, performed by user equipment, made with possibility to use in wireless communication system, comprises stages, receiving system information and a value label indicating a version of the system information, wherein the value mark is associated with the action time period, during which the system information version is considered to be valid, wherein the value mark is one of several different possible value labels, wherein at least two of different possible labels values are respectively associated with different possible action time periods, wherein table in user equipment displays each different possible value mark in one of different possible action time periods, wherein at least two of different possible labels values are respectively displayed in differing possible action time periods.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increase of frequency of change of system information for the same volume of service costs for signaling, which relates to transfer of value mark.
