SUBSTANCE: present invention disclosure relates to absorbent article (1) comprising absorbent core (5) arranged between upper sheet (3) and rear sheet (4), wherein said article (1) is located along longitudinal axis (y1) and transverse axis (x1) extending in a direction perpendicular to longitudinal axis (y1), and in said product (1) are formed front part (6), rear part (7) and crotch portion (8), wherein said absorbent core (5) comprises absorbent component (5a, 5b, 5c) closed by closure member (11, 12) of a core comprising an upper and lower sides (11, 12), and core (5) is formed with sealing means (9, 10) for connecting said upper and lower sides (11, 12) and comprising two channel seals (9, 10), extending along said longitudinal axis (y1) in said perineal portion (8) and defining the width (w1) of the first channel seal and the width (w2) of the second channel seal, respectively. Besides, front part (6) of core (5) is formed with recess (27) defining depth (c) and passing from front edge (28) of core (5) and into said front part (6), and wherein distance (l2) between said front edge (28) of core (5) and front edge (20) of each channel seal (9, 10) is set, wherein ratio of said depth (c) and said distance (l2) is in range 0.05-0.8. Invention also relates to absorbent core (5) and method of producing absorbent product (1).
EFFECT: disclosed is an absorbent product for newborns.
