FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, in particular, to swivel joints with position fixation. Swivel joint contains a first and a second links and a means of fixing. The first and second links are mechanically connected with to each other with the possibility of rotation relative to each other. The fixing means is placed in the hole of the first link and in the groove of the second link with the possibility of blocking the mutual rotation of the first and the second links. The hole of the first link and the groove of the second link are configured so that it is possible to pinch the fixing means between the sides of the hole and the groove when external forces are applied to the first and second links in one of the circumferential directions.
EFFECT: increased reliability of fixation of the swivel links relative to each other.
