SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for an electroactive polymer based drive. Essence of the invention consists in that the drive device comprises: an electroactive polymer-based drive and a piezoelectric transducer having a primary side and a secondary side, wherein the drive device comprises a piezoelectric electroactive polymer layer comprising a first portion and a second portion, wherein first section of electroactive polymer layer forms part of secondary side of piezoelectric transducer, and the second portion of the electroactive polymer layer forms part of the electroactive polymer based drive, wherein the primary side and the secondary side of the piezoelectric transducer are formed from different electroactive polymer materials.

EFFECT: possibility of supplying lower external voltages.
