SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of controlling parking and equipment for controlling parking. Method of controlling parking for parking a vehicle based on a working command received from an operator outside the vehicle. Parking control method comprises, detecting an operator position, detecting an obstacle position, calculating a first area observed by an operator, and a second region different from the first region and the non-observed operator, based on the positional relationship between the obstacle position and the operator position, calculation of parking route and control command for movement along parking route so that first level of proximity of vehicle to obstacle in first area is higher than second level of proximity of vehicle to obstacle in second area and parking of vehicle in compliance with control command. Parking control equipment comprises control device configured to execute control command for vehicle parking on the basis of working command received from operator outside vehicle.
EFFECT: higher safety when parking a vehicle.
